Uit mijn priveverzameling:

De toenmalige officiële Hollandse GM importeur gaf in 1996 aan Chevrolet de opdracht om een tweetal speciale Beretta’s te leveren in de sportieve Z26 uitvoering met 3.1ltr V6 gekoppeld aan een 4 traps automaat. De auto’s moesten geleverd worden met NL specificaties. Dergelijke specifieke conversions werden gerealiseerd door TDM World Conversions LTD een onderdeel van GM. De NL specificaties betroffen kilometerteller,radio met Europese frequenties, Europees/Hollandse verlichting incl. gele richtingaanwijzers. De specificaties zijn op speciale stickers en id plaatjes in de auto terug te vinden ook waren de boekjes in het Hollands. Een werd geleverd in een paars metallic de andere in blauw metallic. De paarse is niet terug te vinden in de RDW analen dus onze blauwe is waarschijnlijk het enig overgebleven exemplaar.

De huidige NAP gecontroleerde en logisch bevonden km stand is 186617. We gaven onze Beretta Z26 bijzonder veel aandacht zowel optisch als technisch, hij staat nog geheel in de eerste jas, een goede polijstbeurt bij een specialist deed hem er weer top uitzien, het interieur is nog geheel origineel en ziet er zeer goed uit. Technisch werd hij geheel nagelopen, alle vloeistoffen filters zijn vernieuwd incl. van de automaat ook zijn er enkele essentiële pakkingen\slangen vernieuwd, 6 bougies en een verse APK. Hij rijdt helemaal top en de 4 traps automaat schakelt zijdezacht. De airco is gecontroleerd op lekkages en opnieuw gevuld. Hij heeft behoorlijk veel opties, airco, cruisecontrol,elektrische ramen,centraal slot, super Delco electronic soundsystem en de prachtige authentieke originele lichtmetalen wielen die er nog top uitzien.

Het is een zeer excentrieke auto waar het goed in vertoeven is, het wachten is op een liefhebber die net zo enthousiast is als ons over dit exemplaar.
