HISTORIE/DOCUMENTATIE:

Deze prachtige Spider is nieuw geleverd in Boulogne-Sur-Mer (Frankrijk) op 12 oktober 1992. De kilometerstand duidt erop dat de auto slechts voor tour- of vakantieritten is gebruikt. In 2022 is de auto geïmporteerd naar Nederland, waar hij sindsdien in bezit is geweest van een Alfa Romeo liefhebber. Bij de auto zijn nog originele aflever-, service en instructieboekjes aanwezig. Dankzij de ingevulde servicebeurten is de historie duidelijk en de kilometerstand logisch. Bij de auto zijn ook onderhoudsfacturen aanwezig. 

EXTERIEUR:

De Alfa is stijlvol uitgevoerd in Grigio Chiaro metallic (zilver) lakwerk en kenmerkende Alfa Romeo velgen. De bijbehorende hardtop is dankzij de lichte constructie relatief eenvoudig te (de)monteren. Op het achterraam pronkt nog de originele Franse dealersticker. Het lakwerk verkeert in algemene goede staat, enkel de achterbumper heeft aan de linkerzijde een kleine beschadiging. De 15 inch lichtmetalen velgen verkeren allen in een goede staat. Het chroomwerk blinkt nog volop en de rubbers zijn nog gaaf. De zwarte softtop heeft enkele kleine gebruikerssporen, maar functioneert nog prima. De soft top kan keurig opgeborgen worden onder de beige tonneaucover.

INTERIEUR:

Het prachtige beige interieur verkeert in algehele goede staat: de half-lederen stoelen zijn onbeschadigd en de vloermatten zijn schoon. Ook het dashboard is nog fris, en is mooi uitgevoerd met gedeeltelijk beige en gedeeltelijk zwarte afwerking. Het prachtige 3-spaaks houten stuurwiel is de eyecatcher van het interieur. Zowel in de zon als onder de comfortabele hardtop is het hier goed vertoeven, en is het absoluut geen straf om kilometers te maken. De stoelen zitten heerlijk, en het interieur is verder voorzien van onder meer een Blaupunkt radio, elektrisch bedienbare spiegels en elektrisch bedienbare ramen. Ook de kofferruimte is netjes. In het onderste compartiment is het reservewiel geplaatst. Ook is er nog een kleiner compartiment aanwezig dat plaats biedt aan bijvoorbeeld gereedschap.

TECHNISCH:

De laatste onderhoudsbeurt is uitgevoerd in 2022, waarbij onder meer de remblokken, remschijven en banden aan de achterzijde zijn vervangen. Alle 4 banden zijn van het A-merk Contintal. De auto start, rijdt en schakelt naar behoren. Het karakter is vlot en sportief, maar ook comfortabel. De 1.962 cc 4-cilinder injectiemotor levert 123 pk en brengt de Alfa in 9,4 seconden naar 100 km/u. Onder de motorkap oogt het fris, schoon en droog. De auto heeft zich dan ook uitstekend bewezen op vakantieritten naar Italië, waarvan hij in 2025 naar Nederland is gereden. Een betere auto om te flaneren rond bijvoorbeeld de Italiaanse meren of de Côte d'Azur kunnen wij ons haast niet voorstellen!

ALGEMENE INFORMATIE:

De inmiddels befaamde Alfa Romeo Spider werd geïntroduceerd op 10 maart 1966 op de Autosalon in Geneve. Het was de opvolger van de Giulietta Spider, en was de eerste serie uit de in totaal 4 series die uiteindelijk gebouwd zouden gaan worden. De 4e en laatste serie werd slechts gebouwd van 1990 tot en met 1993. Er waren 2 motoren beschikbaar: een 1,6-liter en 2,0-liter 4-cilinder. Modellen met de 2-liter motor kregen de naam Veloce (wat Italiaans is voor 'snel') en is vanzelfsprekend het krachtigst. De combinatie van kracht, vermogen en souplesse maakt deze motor het meest geliefd. Het ontwerp is afkomstig van de befaamde designer Pininfarina.
