Pocas unidades pueden presumir de una configuración tan especial, un historial tan transparente y un estado tan honesto como este SL500. Pintado en el rarísimo y elegante Tourmaline Green Metallic (Código 249U), esta unidad fue entregada nueva el 18 de enero de 1995 por la sucursal oficial de Mercedes-Benz en Múnich, Alemania.

Este SL no es uno más: es una de las escasas unidades configuradas con interior en cuero Anthracite (271A), capota de lona en negro (9001) y hardtop original en el mismo color de la carrocería, un conjunto altamente poco común incluso entre los entendidos del modelo R129. Según registros no oficiales y bases de datos de aficionados, es una configuración extremadamente rara, con muy pocas unidades conocidas en este color, tapicería y equipamiento.

Historia y propiedad
El coche tuvo un único propietario hasta el año 2000, momento en el que fue adquirido por su actual dueño, un comandante de aviación jubilado, quien lo compró con 84.000 km. Hoy, el vehículo registra 183.500 km, usados siempre con mimo, para escapadas y viajes ocasionales, guardado en garaje y mantenido en talleres especializados Mercedes-Benz (excepto la revisión de los 185.000 km que está pendiente).

Conserva su libro de mantenimiento original, ITV pasada anualmente siempre favorable, y sin accidentes ni repintados. Un detalle que destaca: la pintura es completamente original, algo muy inusual en modelos de esta época, lo que le confiere aún más valor como pieza de colección.

Estado actual
El coche se encuentra en buen estado general, funcionando correctamente y listo para ser disfrutado, aunque con ciertas actualizaciones recomendables por el paso del tiempo:

Neumáticos en buen estado visual pero con 14 años: se recomienda sustitución.

Líquidos y filtros en buen estado aparente, pero no renovados recientemente.

Capota de lona sin uso, pero en perfecto estado. El sistema eléctrico de apertura no responde, pero la operación manual es funcional y la lona está intacta. Las ventanillas de plástico muestran un ligero tono amarillento por el tiempo.

Sistema de techo duro (hardtop) funcional y fácil de instalar/quitar.

Con un buen trabajo de detailing, no sería necesario repintar: mantener la pintura original es clave para conservar su autenticidad y valor.

En resumen
Este SL500 es una excelente base para quien busca un Mercedes Youngtimer de prestigio, en configuración rara, con pintura de fábrica, un historial transparente y que simplemente necesita ser puesto al día con pequeños mantenimientos preventivos.

La luna delantera será sustituida en estos días y se entregara montada. (una ligera grieta es el motivo)
