HISTORIA/DESCRIPCIÓN GENERAL
De Soto S11 Custom de 1947 em excelente estado.

Motor novo. Totalmente reparado com todo o material original encomendado dos USA. 
Reparação com custo de 5000€. (Pistões, segmentos, bronzes, juntas...)
Desde esta reparação fez apenas 500 kms. Está completamente novo.
Caixa Fluid Drive revista por especialista, a funcionar na perfeição, com revisão feita.
Trabalha e anda na perfeição, trava bem, a trasmissão está em excelentes condições. 
Mecanicamente nada a apontar.

A Carroceria, muito sólida, sem podres, como é visível nas fotos. 
O Carro mantém a sua cor original, no entanto foi pintado pelo anterior proprietário à cerca de 10 anos. A pintura está em bom estado, mas não de nível de concurso. Foi polido recentemente. 
Os cromados precisam de atenção. Nunca o fiz pois penso que acrescentam carácter e história ao carro e sempre gostei dele assim.

Tenho conhecimento de todo o historial do carro desde novo. Com livro de registo de 1947 do primeiro proprietário. (ver fotos).
O carro foi comprado novo no concessionário da Chrysler no Porto em 1947, por um senhor chamado Albino Teixeira, na época um industrial da zona de Gondomar. 
Quando faleceu, os herdeiros do Sr. Albino, venderam o carro a um colecionador de carros antigos de Braga à cerca de dez anos, que o conservou na sua garagem juntamente com a sua colecção. 
Pouco o usou durante o tempo que o teve.
Então quando o adquiri em 2021, tive que colocar mãos a obra, pois o carro estava parado à bastante tempo.
Realizei e investi muito trabalho e dinheiro no carro: 
-Reparação motor, com peças todas novas encomendadas dos USA (Pistões, segmentos, bronzes, juntas...);
-Revisão à transmissão Fluid Drive, (A funcionar em pleno);
-Radiador reparado por especialista;
-Bomba de óleo nova comprada nos USA. (Outra suplente vai na mala do carro); 
-Carburador refeito. (Com kit de reparação dos USA);
-Alternador de 6v. (Peça aftermarket no valor de 300€);
Converti o antigo gerador para um alternador novo, porque funciona melhor. No entanto também reparei o antigo gerador que vai na mala do carro numa caixa, se o comprador quiser voltar ao original. (Reparação no valor de 250€);
-Eletrónica toda revista, a funcionar em pleno. Todos os manómetros funcionam;
-Bateria de 6v nova;
-Todos as tubagens novas;
-Pneus novos;
-Travões todos refeitos;
-Filtro de ar novo. (Novamente converti, pois funciona melhor, no entanto segue o original na mala, caso o novo dono queira voltar ao original).
-Interior novo, em tecido todo refeito. 

O carro não tem inspeção, pois deixei passar a data, porque não tenho tempo para usufruir dele como gostaria. No entanto passa na inspeção sem qualquer anotação. Sem problemas mecanicos a apontar.
