De Porsche 944 S2: één van de laatst gebouwde exemplaren van de 944 uitgevoerd met de meeste krachtige motor: de 3.0-liter 4-cilinder lijnmotor met 211 pk. Het door ons aangeboden exemplaar is geleverd op 25 mei 1990 in Flensburg, Duitsland. 

Hij is prachtig samengesteld in stijlvol wit lakwerk met lichtmetalen velgen en een half-lederen zwart interieur waar de Porsche merknaam staat gegraveerd in de stoelen. Ook beschikt de Porsche over leuke onderscheidende opties zoals elektrisch bedienbare stoelen in de hoogte en een elektrisch bedienbaar schuifdak. Om het interieur nog iets sportiever te maken is een Recaro sportstuur aangebracht. 

Verder is onder meer een radio/cd-speler aanwezig. Het interieur verkeert nog in zeer een mooie staat, iets dat tamelijk bijzonder is bij dit model. De kofferdeksel wil niet open, dat zou gemaakt moeten worden. Dankzij twee zitjes in de achterbank kunnen ook 2 kinderen worden meegenomen. De achterbank kan ook platgelegd worden, waardoor een verassend ruime kofferbak ontstaat. 

Na zijn tijd in Duitsland is de Porsche in handen gekomen van de huidige Nederlandse eigenaar, die meerdere exclusieve oldtimers in zijn bezit heeft. Zowel optische als technisch verkeerd de auto in goede staat. Het rijden met de auto is een heerlijke ervaring: sportief maar ook comfortabel. De auto verkeert in zeer mooie, roestvrije en originele staat met een lage kilometerstand. 

In 2021 is de accu vervangen. Kortom: een heel fraai exemplaar van de krachtige 944 S2, waarvan een goed exemplaar steeds schaarser en geliefder wordt. Een aanvulling voor iedere verzameling maar ook een echte rijdersauto.
