Un truck américain à la française!!! Quand Renault dans les années 50 décide de construire un véhicule robuste et pratique pour les campagnes il crée la Colorale. 

Ce modèle de 1955 version "châssis-cabine" à un moteur de 2L développant 58 chevaux et 89.000 km au compteur.  Dans les années 50, il y avait 7 versions de ce modèle, dans cette version "châssis-cabine" le modèle présenté avait été équipé d'un caisson en bois qui a été entièrement recréé.  

L'exemplaire présenté a été entièrement restauré : démonté, poncé, enduit et repeint et il a retrouvé sa robe verte d'origine.  

- Toutes les pièces d'usure mécanique ont été remplacées ou refaits. 
- La banquette a été refaite par un sellier. 
- Le moteur en bon état a été révisé, tous les fluides ont été changés. 
- la  batterie et les pneus sont neufs.
- Toutes les factures sont disponibles ainsi que de nombreuses photos de la restauration 
- Il y a une petite éraflure sur le capot. 
- Le rétroviseur sur l'aile n'est pas d'origine. 
- Le comportement de la voiture est rustique typique des années 1950. 
- La voiture est immatriculée en collection FFVE en France.  

Elle est visible près de l'Indre 36.
