This Ferrari 308 GTSi boasts a rich history and has been very well maintained and preserved over the years.

Originally purchased in 2001 in Saint Chamond, France, this car had been with the same French owner since 1986, as evidenced by the 2001 purchase invoice referencing the prior registration date.

In 2008, the car was brought to Belgium by the same owner with 83,184 kilometers on the odometer. Upon arrival, it was registered and underwent an extensive inspection at Ferrari Monza in Sint-Martens-Latem. This included a complete overhaul of the braking system, new control arms, suspension bushings, and a major service—all documented with official invoices and notes. A certificate of conformity was also obtained from Ferrari’s Brussels office for Belgian registration. The car remained roadworthy and passed inspection in 2011 with a mileage of 84,488 km.

After 2012, the Ferrari was carefully stored in a dry underground garage, preserving it in good condition. However, a less successful earlier paint job caused blistering under the paint, as noted in a 2008 appraisal report. After years of inactivity, Resurf acquired the car and restored it to its former glory with attention to detail and craftsmanship.

This Ferrari 308 GTSi is now offered in very good condition, showcasing a rich, documented history and numerous completed works—a perfect opportunity for true Ferrari enthusiasts.

Technical

The Ferrari 308 GTSi features a 2.9-liter V8 engine with Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection, offering a smooth yet exhilarating driving experience. Recent work includes a comprehensive engine tune-up with new spark plugs, a replaced time temperature switch, and refreshed ignition components. The braking system was overhauled, including new pads, ensuring reliable stopping power. The suspension, serviced in 2008 with new bushings and control arms, contributes to a precise and comfortable ride. The rear exhaust manifold has a crack in the collector from 2 to 1 and there is a coolant leak.

Bodywork and Paint

The car underwent an extensive body restoration, stripped to bare metal and repainted in its original Corsa Rosso. The flawless finish accentuates its iconic lines. The wheels received the same meticulous treatment and were fitted with brand-new tires, resulting in a striking exterior ready to impress collectors and enthusiasts alike.

Interior

The interior is entirely original, with wear consistent with its age and use—nothing more, nothing less. From the upholstery to the dashboard, every detail reflects its authentic 1980s charm. The only update is the installation of new window motors, ensuring smooth functionality without compromising originality.
