Porsche 968 3.0 16V Targa Coupé Tiptronic

ALGEMEEN

De Porsche 968 is uitgerust met een doorontwikkelde versie van de bekende 944-viercilinder lijnmotor. In de 968 werd deze vergroot naar een indrukwekkende drie liter inhoud, met een boring van 104 mm en een slag van 88 mm. Dit maakte het destijds de grootste viercilinder productiemotor ter wereld.

Deze Porsche werd in 1992 nieuw geleverd in de Verenigde Staten en heeft daar het grootste deel van zijn leven doorgebracht voordat hij in 2025 naar Nederland werd geïmporteerd. Uit de Amerikaanse periode zijn zeer veel facturen en onderhoudsbonnen beschikbaar, wat de historie goed onderbouwt.

INTERIEUR

Het interieur is origineel en verkeert in goede staat. Het dashboard vertoont enkele kleine haarscheurtjes aan de bovenzijde, wat passend is bij de leeftijd. De hemelbekleding is netjes, al laat deze in één hoekje licht los.

De auto is voorzien van lederen bekleding en beschikt over een elektrisch, uitneembaar Targa-dak dat goed functioneert. Hierdoor is open rijden eenvoudig en zorgeloos mogelijk, zonder problemen met bediening of afdichting.

Alle elektrische componenten functioneren naar behoren. Het interieur maakt een verzorgde en originele indruk.

LAKWERK & CARROSSERIE

Het lakwerk verkeert in nette staat en geeft de auto een frisse uitstraling. Er zijn enkele zeer kleine gebruikssporen aanwezig, passend bij leeftijd en kilometrage.

De auto is afkomstig uit Arizona, wat betekent dat de carrosserie vrij is van roest — een belangrijk pluspunt bij dit type klassieker. Onder de motorkap oogt alles zeer schoon en verzorgd.

TECHNISCH

De auto start, rijdt en schakelt goed. De Tiptronic-automaat functioneert zoals het hoort.

In de afgelopen jaren is technisch veel vernieuwd. Recent zijn onder andere de distributieriem en waterpomp vervangen. In 2025 is er een nieuwe aandrijflijn gemonteerd ter waarde van circa $ 2.000.

De auto staat op fraaie originele Cup-velgen.

AANDACHTSPUNTEN

De rechter buitendeurklink functioneert niet; deze opent wel van binnenuit. Het hendeltje aan de buitenzijde is defect. De laatste jaren is de Porsche weinig gebruikt dus een kleine onderhoudsbeurt is raadzaam.

DOCUMENTATIE

De auto wordt geleverd met:

– USA Title
– Nederlandse invoerpapieren
– Bewijs dat alle invoerheffingen en belastingen voor Europa zijn voldaan
– Een map met 33 jaar aan historie en facturen

- Er is voor deze auto geen CoC document nodig.

Uit de Carfax blijkt een in 2013 gemelde schade aan de voorbumper. Deze is destijds via de verzekering afgehandeld, waardoor de auto een Salvage-vermelding heeft gekregen.

Hiermee is het voertuig volledig geïmporteerd en administratief gereed voor registratie.

OVERIG

De auto wordt momenteel aangeboden met een Amerikaanse Title en is nog niet gekeurd voor gebruik op de openbare weg in Nederland of de EU.

Wij kunnen desgewenst ondersteuning bieden bij transport door heel Europa.

Hoewel wij onze voertuigen zo eerlijk en nauwkeurig mogelijk omschrijven, blijft het een gebruikte auto. Kleine gebruikssporen of aandachtspunten kunnen altijd aanwezig zijn. Bij serieuze interesse raden wij aan de auto persoonlijk te komen bezichtigen.
