Deze mooie Mercedes 280 SLC is een heerlijke cruiser, ook vanwege zijn heerlijk schakelende automatische versnellingsbak. Hij is van bouwjaar 1981, en heeft vanaf 1989 in Zweden gereden, onlangs is hij naar Nederland geexporteerd.
Het is nog steeds een prachtige verschijning en een leuke oldtimer geworden, die nog steeds net zoveel aandacht trekt en net zo heerlijk rijdt als toen ie nieuw was. Hij is niet veel gebruikt, de kilometerstand is 182.290 km, en dit lijkt correct. Hij heeft een Zweedse technische keuring ondergaan en is goedgekeurd tot 21 mei 2027.

Documenten:
De auto kan tegen meerprijs van 50 euro met Zweedse EU Export documenten worden geleverd, zodat een eventuele buitenlandse nieuwe eigenaar de auto gemakkelijk in zijn/haar land kan registreren. Ook het Bilprovning certificaat is erbij (het document van de technische keuring)

Carrosserie:
Heel erg netjes. De auto ziet er werkelijk prachtig uit, ongeveer 20 jaar geleden is de auto in de huidige groene metallic kleur gespoten, zeer netjes gedaan met slechts geringe imperfecties en een paar roestplekjes, ook de onderzijde is zeer mooi. Er is altijd goed voor de auto gezorgd.

Technisch:
De auto start direct, rijdt prima. De laatste eigenaar heeft diverse mechanische onderdelen vervangen, waaronder het uitlaatsysteem, de remklauwen en remschijven, evenals de voorveren en achterveren. Er is een cd-speler in de auto ingebouwd met grote versterkers in de kofferbak. Bij gelijktijdig gebruik met het elektrische schuifdak kan er een zekering doorslaan. De interieurventilator werkt, maar geeft geen warmte, waarschijnlijk omdat de kachelradiator is omzeild. Het contactslot en de sleutel zijn vervangen en er zijn twee sets sleutels.
Een kleinere onderhoudsbeurt is aan te raden, vanwege het feit dat de auto de laatste tijd amper is gebruikt. Dat geldt voor iedere gebruikte auto, en daarmee ook voor deze Mercedes. 

Interieur:
Het interieur ziet er zeer netjes uit. De stoelen en het dashboard zijn enige tijd geleden opnieuw bekleed. De achterbank is ook erg fraai, de deurpanelen en de dakbekleding eveneens. 

Transport:
De auto staat in Hengevelde, Nederland en kan hier vanzelfsprekend worden opgehaald. De auto kan tegen meerprijs van 150 euro in Nederland worden bezorgd (excl. De Waddeneilanden)

Verkoper kan de auto relatief goedkoop in de hele EU laten bezorgen door een professionele transporteur.

Enige informatie over dit model Mercedes:

In 1971 lanceerde Mercedes eerst een nieuw tweezits cabrioletmodel en later een vierzits coupéversie op basis van dezelfde auto, met een wielbasis verlengd met 36 centimeter. De Mercedes SLC, met interne code C107, was leverbaar met een scala aan zes- en achtcilindermotoren. 

Tegenwoordig is het open SL-model misschien wel bekender, niet in de laatste plaats omdat het maar liefst 18 jaar geproduceerd werd, terwijl de SLC Coupé het model is met een autosporthistorie. Onder andere Björn Waldegård reed in 1979 de Safari Rally in een 450 SLC 5.0. Modeljaar 1981 was het laatste model voor de SLC, en zijn opvolger werd een grotere auto omdat hij gebaseerd was op de nieuwe generatie S-Klasse 126. Volgens Mercedes-Benz Journal werden er in totaal 62.888 exemplaren van de SLC geproduceerd
