This EMW 340 is a copy of the original BMW 327. It was built in the factories of BMW which were obtained by the Russians after the war, because the factories were located in East Germany. In the beginning these cars were still produced under the BMW name. In 1952, the European Court determined that the name should be changed. It was then changed to EMW - Eisenacher Motoren Werke. The model was modernised in 1952. The front seats were replaced with a continuous bench and the dashboard was also modernised at that time. This copy is equipped with a different 4 cylinder engine block. There is extensive documentation present, including import documents for the Netherlands and the Russian registration number.The car is 95 % complete.
