Saab 96 V4 Super from 1979, anniversary version no. 72, with an original Saab alarm (disconnected) and delivered by AIM in The Hague.

Original ‘soccer ball’ rims and an anniversary interior with a Saab sports steering wheel.

The car was completely restored in 1994: the bodywork, the engine and the gearbox (pictures and invoice are available!).

The car’s registration has been suspended for 7 years and the bodywork needs to be addressed. Technically, it starts and runs. The car drives as can be expected from a 43-year-old car: it steers, shifts and brakes well. 
As far as I know, the car was owned by a family in The Hague from 1979 to 2009.
After that it spent a year as trading stock at Witmer en Odijk where I bought it in 2010.

Recently, the clutch, pressure group and pressure bearing were renewed, the engine was cleaned and fitted with various new cooling hoses. The left front wheel bearing was also replaced.
I’ve highlighted as best I could with photos the areas that need attention.

It is a unique anniversary model from 1979, there are only a few left on the roads!

You can turn it into a special car after some attention!
