STORY/PANORAMA
The Cinquecento Trofeo is a competition version developed on the basis of the Fiat Cinquecento, created to give life to single-make championships and to offer a lightweight, agile and highly competitive platform for hill climb and circuit racing, representing an entry point to national competitions. The specimen offered participated in the 1993 CIVM – Italian Mountain Speed Championship, within the ERG Petroli Cup 1993, and is prepared according to the specifications required for participation in the competition. The setup, components and engine configuration reflect the technical approach of the era, making it a car with strong historical-sporting value, a direct testimony to Italian competitions of the 1990s.
EXTERIOR
The bodywork is well preserved in the original black color (code 601/F) in the typical Trofeo configuration of the era, still bearing the official graphics and technical sponsors (Magneti Marelli, Michelin, Bilstein, Momo, Sparco), which recall the CIVM competition setup.
The specific details of the race version are present: dedicated bumper, Speedline alloy wheels, lowered suspension and weight-reducing configuration in collaboration with Abarth.
The underbody is solid with no significant signs of corrosion
INTERIOR
In good overall condition, consistent with competitive use, configured according to competition specifications, with a lightweight cockpit and free of superfluous trim faithful to the configuration with which the car took part in the CIVM 1993 competitions. Racing seats, multi-point roll bar, fire extinguisher and safety equipment dedicated to sports use are present. The instrumentation is essential and functional for use in racing. The cabin has been recently sanitized.
MECHANICS
The engine starts promptly and is usable, the clutch, gearbox and brakes are functional. The engine is prepared according to the Trofeo specifications of the era, with interventions on distribution, Magneti Marelli electronic management and components dedicated to competition. The total number of kilometers traveled is unknown and the car has remained unused in a private collection in recent years; the technical inspection (revision) has expired several years ago.
An interesting opportunity for enthusiasts and collectors of 1990s competition cars with proper documents for ownership transfer

Disclaimer
Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
