An eighteenth‑century oak wardrobe cabinet from Alsace‑Lorraine, France, in blond oak, 195 cm wide, 207 cm high and 63 cm deep, weighing 150 kg, and lockable, in good used condition with small signs of age and spots.
Description from the seller
Beautiful and characterful wardrobe from Alsace-Lorraine. This region lies on the border with Germany and the people there speak both German and French. This is because it periodically belongs to Germany and then again to France. You can also see this in the style: heavy and solid yet elegant. Beautiful pale blonde oak. Very solidly made from high-quality, heavy oak. The wardrobe can be taken apart into pieces and reassembled. It has a large depth (63 cm) so clothes can be hung on ample clothes hangers. If you would like that. Sturdy black ball feet contribute to the elegance. The panels in the doors are quarter-sawn and therefore have a very beautiful grain structure.
Transport:
In the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg, France and Spain we transport the furniture in moving blankets and bring it inside. For the other countries we use a wooden pallet in sturdy cardboard and splash-water resistant foil up to the front door. For islands we charge a higher rate, delivery is to the door; please help because the driver is alone, the driver may not go inside or up the stairs.
The carrier will contact you directly to arrange delivery. He has your phone number and email address.
