Land Rover 88 series 3 from 1981. It was delivered new to Italy and has had a quiet life in the Veneto and Piedmont area; it was used for travel in the hills and valleys of the Langhe.

The last owner, according to historical documents, was Mr Mario Fenoglio of Turin, born in 1935, who bought this Land Rover in 1991 and kept it until 2021, therefore for over 30 years. He was very fond
of this vehicle, which he always kept in his garage and which had proved to be reliable and ready for use.

A few years ago it underwent a complete restoration and is still in excellent condition: the body has been completely repainted in its original colour and has retained all its factory sheet metal with the original round welding points.

Due to non-use in recent years, the mechanics have undergone a full servicing: brake overhaul, new tyres, 
a complete service, new exhaust, new bumper and an electrical check.

In addition, this Land Rover has all the optional extras available at the time:

- “Safari” double sunroof to ventilate the passenger compartment on hot months via ceiling vents;
- “Fairey” mechanical overdrive, which lengthens the gear ratios to create a 5th gear;
- Original luggage rack of the time;
- Wheel holder on the front bonnet;

Moreover, this Land Rover is registered with the ASI AutomotoClub Storico Italiano as a vehicle of historic interest, with certificate (see photo).

Inspection was passed in November 2021 and is valid until November 2023. The car is a direct purchase from the previous owner and some routine maintenance may be needed in the future.

The feeler gauge test showed no major accidents and the compression test gave good results (as shown in photos).
