1966 Ford USA Mustang Fastback V8 Code-A in very good condition.

This vehicle was first registered in its country of origin, the United States, in 1966 and was imported to Spain in 2003 in very good original condition. It has had very little use as it is part of a private collection, as the car has only been driven 1500 miles in the last twenty years.  

The unusual V8 Code-A engine has been completely rebuilt, as shown in the photo report. It is the 225 HP version with a Holley 4-barrel carburettor. 

It has undergone a body and paint restoration and looks perfectly shiny and smooth, retaining its original Vintage Burgundy colour with Rally Stripes. 

Many hours of work have been spent to get this Ford Mustang Fastback in competition condition for its presentation at the Certamen de Elegancia del Salón Retromóvil de Madrid 2022 (Madrid Retromobile Elegance Competition 2022), where it was ultimately awarded the prize for the best classic car (see photos).

Many original details honour the Mustang legend, such as the three-split tail lights, the legendary "Styled Steel" wheels, which in their day were a particularly valuable extra, and the eye-catching twin tailpipes with their powerful sound.

Spectacular interior with black upholstery. It keeps its original 15-inch wooden steering wheel perfectly restored to match the wooden inserts in the dashboard bezel and glove compartment.
