This rare Volkswagen is a Typ 18-63 version produced in 1971.

It is a military “Kübelwagen” version and is very rare, the floor and frame are as the typical Vw 181 but it is fitted with the “M63” kit. The nameplate also states that it is a special (military) equipment including: dimmable headlights, rear fog light, speedometer with 1/10 M63/I km reading, fully enclosed and waterproof equipment, crank starter, laminated windscreen, burner heater.

The bodywork is solid and has been fully repainted in the original colour a few years ago.
There are a few marks from normal use, as shown in the photo, but they are minor for this type of vehicle.
The doors are fully detachable and the folding glass makes it a perfect car for the summer.

The interior is still original vinyl and in very good condition, a set of rubber mats have recently been fitted and the bonnet and side windows are new and were fitted in 2021.

The engine runs well, carries the original AG code, starts and runs very well with no faults whatsoever.

The underbody and chassis are very solid and original, have been restored and are perfectly in order with the Italian technical control passed in June 2022 and valid until June 2024, without any defect found.

A Volkswagen technical file will be provided for the registration of this specific model.
