The Mercury Cougar was a car sold under the Lincoln-Mercury division of the Ford Motor Company. The Mercury brand name Cougar was first used in 1967. Over the following three decades, Ford would continue to use the name for many different models of the brand.  

This Cougar was built in October 1975 and is the 3rd generation of this model. It was built in Atlanta for the firm Ray Coggins Motors Inc.

Car is equipped with the 158 HP (118 kW) 400 V8 with dual carburettor. (351-2v).
