Citroen Mehari repainted in 2022, with a conservative bodywork restoration carried out without replacing the external panels. There are some imperfections as you can see from the photos.

The mechanics were reviewed in 2023, with the complete replacement of the exhaust system, starter motor, spark plug cables, spark plugs, tips, condenser, coil, oil, fuel filter.

The mirrors, roof and other accessories have been replaced with new parts to give the car a more authentic character. 

The electric system has been reviewed.
The car starts up and runs.
The rims are in excellent condition and the tyres are new.

The vehicle is ASI registered as a vehicle of historical interest and has 3 previous owners.

Bodywork imperfections (as per photos), windscreen wipers not working.

It can be viewed at our offices in Taranto (southern Italy) by appointment.

We can arrange the shipment via our trusted carrier that will be provided with the buyer’s details (address and telephone number), who will contact the buyer directly to arrange the delivery (we are not responsible for the timing and agreements between the parties, we only act as intermediaries and we do not make any profit on shipments).

Any deregistration required for foreign countries (European community) costs €180.
For Switzerland or other non-EU countries, the cost of deregistration is always €180 but we do not deal with any customs clearances or similar practices. This must be done by the buyer (we can only provide the necessary documentation for general administration and any special documentation will be quoted for separately).

We recommend viewing the vehicle before the end of the auction, even via a video call on your smartphone (WhatsApp, FaceTime). Please send a message to Catawiki for an appointment. The seller reserves the right to claim compensation if the buyer does not pay for the purchase in accordance with the sales contract, which automatically comes into existence with the winning bid and obliges the buyer to make payment, which is available on the seller’s website.
