Alfa Romeo - GT Junior 1300 - 1974

Ready to race in Group 1 with FIA HTP INTERNATIONAL and safety components from 2022. With certificate of origin, chassis and engine have matching numbers. Completely restored in three years by local professionals (Maranello, where it can be viewed by appointment with Catawiki). It was returned to bare sheet metal, treated with anti-rust epoxy primer, and finished with single-layer acrylic. (Recommended by the auto body shop for its robustness and potential retouching, I can provide a paint sample.) The welds are all seamless (no spots) and, where needed, tin solder was used. Finally, aluminium paste putty was used for the final levelling. The tow hook and jack attachments have been reinforced. The mechanics were completely disassembled and restored to the last bolt, with new or regenerated parts. The intake and exhaust ducts have been cleaned and connected to the engine, in addition to the normal operations. It drove approximately 200 km as an extensive test of all its components. Everything works, including windscreen wipers, lights, indicators, bonnet and boot openings, etc. Toyo Proxes R888R tyres also for road use. To make it contest-ready, I took photos of the following little flaws: - Paint on the bonnet. (I could barely get these!) - The chrome and handles are not perfect. - The driver's side and rear window have scratches, though their integrity remains unaffected. - the door seals have been handcrafted for gentle closing (otherwise, as in every GT Junior, you have to slam hard to close them). The car is not registered. I have a document from the PRA in which the chassis number doesn't show up in registrars, meaning that it was not de-registered to receive subsidies for the purchase of a new car (which precludes its re-registration in Italy), and another document from the police that proves that there are no reported thefts for this chassis number. I asked many specialised agencies and did not encounter any issues about a possible new registration in Italy (every country has its own laws). Although I prefer on-site collection, I can contact a carrier or rent a trailer upon request. The car can be viewed and collected in the province of Modena upon appointment via Catawiki.
