Een 900 in een heerlijke pure specificatie, een vrij vroege Saab classic waar je helemaal hebberig van wordt als je hem ziet staan. De kleur is schitterend en typerend jaren 80 met het beige velours interieur en de chromen sierstrips, en natuurlijk niet te missen de Inca velgen die het totaalplaatje compleet maakt. 
Het is van binnen en buiten een erg nette auto om te zien, hij stond ook altijd lekker droog geparkeerd (toevallig spotte ik hem bijna elke dag op de parkeerplek waar hij stond, een klein wereldje weer zo).

Het is een eerlijke auto, wat je ook wel terug ziet aan de rechtheid van alle naden en de algemene staat. Maar dat past ook bij de oud eigenaar; hij vertelde me eerlijk, nog voor hij zich voorstelde, dat de 3e versnelling van de automaat soms een zetje nodig heeft/bokt (eventjes gaslos en hij springt in de 3 “het went voordat je het in de gaten hebt”) Dat is een opmerking over z’n technische staat. 
Zeer waarschijnlijk al te verhelpen met spoelen/vullen van de bak (gezien hij op druk werkt, het pijl kan net iets te laag staan, waardoor dit het gevolg is. Hij schakelt verder goed, zonder bijgeluid)

Verder is er erg veel aan gedaan om hem technisch goed in de benen te houden: zo is er vrij recent nog een nieuwe koppakking in gekomen, is de carburateur gereviseerd/aangepakt en is er nog een servicebeurt uitgevoerd. Ook is de bodem getectyleerd om roest te voorkomen. Al met al, een hele leuke Saab 900 classic om lekker dagelijks van te genieten!
