Fraaie Brilkever te koop, dit model is slechts enkele maanden gebouwd. In goede staat, veel originele elementen en met nieuwe 2023 APK. 

De kever die wij te koop aanbieden betreft een zogenaamde Zwitter. Het jaar 1952 was het laatste jaar van de bekende brilkever, maar er werden al onderdelen van de nieuwe ovaal kever gebruikt. Dit maakt een Zwitter brilkever erg uniek: hij is maar 1 jaar gebouwd! Typische kenmerken voor de Zwitter zijn de bril raampjes in combinatie met het ovali dashboard, een chrome sierlijst rond de bril raampjes, tochtraampjes in de portieren, de VDO kilometerteller, het interieurlichtje boven de bestuurder, de bekende achterlichten met hartjes vorm, het rol – gaspedaal, de asbak zonder handgreep, de “ribbel” deuren tot chroomlijsten aan weerszijden van de kever. Al deze elementen zaten niet op de brilkever en dat maakt de ZWITTER kever zo uniek. 

Deze Zwitter is in technische goede staat en werd in maart 2023 volledig APK goed gekeurd. De kever werd op diverse punten aangepast aan deze tijd:

• 1600CC motor met spaghetti uitlaat
• Bijbehorende versnellingsbak gesynchroniseerd
• schijfremmen voorzijde en achterzijde (remt veel beter dan origineel)
• 12 Volt elektrisch systeem
• Goede verlichting lampen gebruikt
• Chromen 5-spaaks velgen

De motor start direct met een mooi geluid. De brilkever schakelt uitstekend, en "double clutching" is niet nodig vanwege de gewijzigde versnellingsbak. De auto remt uitstekend, mede dankzij de schijfremmen. De lak is netjes, het is een oudere lak met links en rechts wat patina of plekjes. De lak glimt mooi in de zon. 

Het chassisnummer 0399308 is correct voor najaar 1952 en staat nog in het originele VW fabrieksplaatje voorin de auto. Waar vind je dit nog? Ook is deze zeldzame “Zwitter” voorzien van een Nederlands kenteken met een geldige APK. Vanwege de leeftijd van de auto hoeft deze nooit meer een technische APK keuring te ondergaan! Wij hebben de brilkever laten keuren zodat u weet dat de auto technisch goed is. Er kan dus direct van deze klassieker genoten worden!

Een Brilkever ‘Zwitter’ model is nagenoeg onmogelijk te vinden en ze worden slechts zelden aangeboden. Het gaat om een No Reserve veilig: de hoogste bieder wordt de nieuwe eigenaar van deze prachtige tijdloze Volkswagen!


EXTRA OPMERKING: Zeer uniek Zwitter model, ca. 10 van op de Nederlandse wegen.

Door het lage gewicht en 1600cc motor is de kever best vlot te noemen
