Dit is echt apart, een originele Buick Riviera 3.8 Turbo als Coupe in een mooie en onverprutste originele conditie. Een tijdloos elegant model met een klasse uitstraling.

Een Riviera was altijd al het topmodel van Buick en als Coupe uitermate luxueus uitgerust: prachtige velours bekleding, een schitterend dashboard, hele fijne stoelen, een uitgebreid muzieksysteem, aparte lichtmetalen velgen en uiteraard alles elektrisch bedienbaar. Een ijskoude airco is vanzelfsprekend ook aanwezig.
Een erg mooi model met een klassieke tijdloze uitstraling, gewoon een erg chique automobiel.

Zover we hebben kunnen vaststellen lijkt het nog de originele lak en de hele auto maakt een hele goede en eerlijke indruk, een echte survivor die altijd goed is onderhouden.
Komt uit een heel droog en warm klimaat en dat is goed aan de mooie carrosserie te zien.

Minpuntje: de dakhemel laat plaatselijk wat los en de radio speelt niet altijd.
Heeft een goede en schadevrije Carfax met 2 eigenaren, maar in het verleden is de mijlenstand niet altijd doorgegeven en dat wordt als aandachtspunt aangegeven.

Tja, en dan het rijden: dat is echt een feestje, een ouderwetse grote turbo die heel duidelijk merkbaar aanwezig is en met een behoorlijke duw steeds een behoorlijke duw geeft, het is en blijft spectaculair.
Voor die tijd een bijzondere automobiel en nog steeds iets bijzonders, dit kom je niet vaak tegen......
