De Austin A30, geïntroduceerd in 1951, was een iconische compacte auto uit het Verenigd Koninkrijk. Deze vierzits auto, aangedreven door een 803cc 4-cilinder motor, bood betrouwbaarheid en betaalbare mobiliteit voor de naoorlogse generatie. 

Met zijn tijdloze ontwerp, handgeschakelde 4-versnellingsbak en een gewicht van 720 kg, was de A30 zowel geschikt voor stadsverkeer als lange afstanden. Zijn populariteit werd versterkt door zijn zuinigheid en onderhoudsvriendelijkheid. De A30 diende als een brug tussen de vooroorlogse en moderne autowereld en vormde de basis voor latere modellen van Austin.

De Austin A30 is een rijdend stuk geschiedenis dat zijn erfgoed met trots draagt. Met zijn tijdloze ontwerp en elegante zwarte lak is hij een opvallende verschijning op de weg. De handgeschakelde transmissie met 4 versnellingen biedt een traditionele rijervaring waar autoliefhebbers dol op zullen zijn.

Binnenin wordt u begroet door het originele rode interieur, dat de nostalgische sfeer van vervlogen tijden oproept. Op 4 augustus 2008 werd de Austin aangeschaft door de huidige eigenaar. Bij aankomst in Nederland heeft hij de motor gereviseerd en de auto deels opgeknapt. Op 21 april 2010 werd de A30 voor het eerst op Nederlands kenteken geregistreerd.

De Austin A30 wordt geleverd met diverse gereedschappen en onderdelen, samen met het originele Workshop Manual en instructieboekje.

Uiteraard heeft deze Austin gebruikerssporen opgelopen. Daarnaast is de lak op sommige plekken niet mooi bijgespoten en heeft de auto aan de onderzijde roestvorming, zie foto's.
