STORIA/PANORAMICA
La Elan + 2 fu costruita da Colin Chapman per le famiglie coniugando la classica sportività Lotus alle esigenze di una giovane famiglia. 
La vettura è caratterizzata da una grande manovrabilità e leggerezza data dalla carrozzeria in vetroresina.  

Questa splendida Lotus è stata prelevata direttamente in Inghilterra. 
Presenta la guida a destra, ha avuto solo tre proprietari ed è stata utilizzata sempre con grande rispetto. 

Ha tutti i documenti in regola oltre ad avere il Certificato di Rilevanza Storica e la targa Oro ASI. Viene consegnata con revisione valida fino a Marzo 2024. 

Sono inoltre disponibili anche gli ultimi documenti inglesi con una lettera dell'ultimo proprietario (possessore dell’auto per più di 20 anni) con la quale augurava all’auto di trovare un nuovo proprietario rispettoso.

ESTERNO
L’esterno dell’auto è ottimo considerando l’età. Sono presenti dei piccoli punti dove presenta piccole bollicine di vernice. Fenomeno normale per la vetroresina. 
I fondi dell’auto sono in ottimo stato e l'auto non presenta ruggine.

INTERNO
L’abitacolo è caratterizzato da un quadro strumenti in legno. Sono presenti ma non funzionanti la radio (originale Turnlock), orologio e sensore temperatura esterna. La tappezzeria è nuova ad eccezione del cielo, ancora in ottime condizioni.

MECCANICA
Il motore è un 1.6 da quasi 130 cv.  
Rispetto all’originale sono presenti delle migliorie come meccanica. È presente uno scarico in acciaio, accensione elettronica e radiatore maggiorato. 
Sono stati cambiati i cerchi con un disegno disponibile anche all’epoca. 

DOCUMENTAZIONE
A corredo documenti italiani. L’auto è stata reimmatricolata in Italia.
