Een goed verzorgde 928 5.0 S4.

Techniek.
Tot op het de laatste dag is er geen euro bespaard, om de 928 technisch in goede staat te houden: klaar voor een last-minute ritje Parijs als dit nodig was. 
Zo is vorig jaar nog vernieuwd: 
	•	Complete distributie, inclusief de multi riemen
	•	Waterpomp
	•	Koppelomvormer
	•	Bak revisie
	•	Airco pomp vernieuwd, airco is goed werkend gemaakt
	•	Remmerij vernieuwd
	•	Olie servicebeurt
	•	Hitteschilden vervangen
	•	4 nieuwe banden: Pirelli Cinturato P7 zoals de 928 s4 origineel nieuw in 1988 geleverd werden
	•	Nieuwe APK tot 06/2025


Zelfs het elektrische dak werkt nog goed. Wat kleine zaken behoeven wel wat aandacht; de ramen voor moeten nagekeken worden, de kachelmotor piept soms wat en de tellerstand loopt niet meer op. Ook de stuurbekrachtiging werkt niet op vol vermogen. 
Wellicht nog iets wat ik over het hoofd heb gezien. Maar, het belangrijkste en grootste werk is allemaal in orde, je kan er gelijk van genieten! De APK kwam hij zonder veel moeite door.
Ohja, jaren geleden heeft een goede vriend, Gerard zijn Audi S4 per ongeluk rechts achter tegen de bumper aangezet... balen. (Onderling is het opgelost) In het kader van “Every dent tells a story” is er nooit meer naar omgekeken en de plek is blijven zitten, hij reed er immers niet minder op. ]
Zo hier en daar heeft hij wat gebruikssporen, even als een roestplekje linksachter achter het achterwiel, die er ook al even zit, maar niet erger wordt. Een krasje en deukje links en rechts als je er heel kritisch omheen loopt.
De bodem is verder keurig in orde met wat ouderdomssporen.
Zoals de foto’s weergeven heeft hij op de motorkap bij de sproeier een beginnende roestplek onder de lak waardoor een bloemkooltje zichtbaar is, even als op de rechter deur. 
Het interieur vertoont gebruikssporen die je kan verwachten bij zijn leeftijd.

Inburgeren.
De eerste eigenaar heeft deze Porsche 928 5.0 S4 nieuw gekocht bij Porsche Zentrum Thiel, op 01/1988. De 2e eigenaar heeft hem vervolgens gekocht en naar Nederland gehaald, op 04/1998 is het een Nederlandse auto geworden, de eigenaar waarvan deze laatste eigenaar hem van heeft overgenomen op 02/2005. Een mooie korte eigenaar historie.
Hij heeft zijn leven, en absoluut bij deze laatste eigenaar, altijd mooi droog binnen mogen overnachten naast het Engelse kasteel (Shilver Shadow II). De eigenaar in kwestie ken ik al jaren, en al deze jaren is de 928 altijd goed vertroeteld.
Het is een auto die nu goed is, zoals ie is ben ik van mening. Uiteraard met wat verbeterpunten zoals ik hierboven noemde. Dat is nu aan jou.
