This is a 1967 replica 550 Spyder in good condition which is built on a steel base plate from a Volkswagen in combination with a tubular frame. This car was part of a collection and very rarely driven. Replica of the little bastard of James Dean. Also this vehicle is equipped with various adjustments and
accessories. A few years ago the a specialized company completely reconditioned and repainted the vehicle. The car currently has a Luxembourgian registration and was never registered in the Netherlands since it was very rarely driven with temporary plates. The car can be viewed and picked up in the Netherlands, Den Bosch.

Body / paintwork:
Polyester 2 door body combined with a tubular steel frame, type 550 Spyder on a steel load-bearing Volkswagen base plate (not shortened).The bodywork is completely damage-free as far as can be seen. The bodywork is in good condition, completely original, well maintained with only minor signs of use.
The paintwork is well maintained and was completely repainted a few years ago. The whole is in very beautiful and well-maintained condition. 
Very minor signs of wear on the body

Technical:
4 cylinder air-cooled petrol boxer engine in the rear placed. Cylinder capacity 1582 CC with 51 HP. The engine is equipped with two EMPI EPC
34 carburetors. The engine is completely original and in good condition
The engine is equipped with an electric cooling fan. There are no
excessive external leaks. The engine and engine compartment are in good
and well-maintained condition and everything was completed several years ago. Engine number H1350893. The car is equipped with a manual 4-speed gearbox, drive on the rear wheels. Selection lever centrally located in the floor and everything is in original and good condition. There are no excessive oil leaks on the gearbox. Hydraulically operated solid disc brakes on the front axle, drum brakes on the rear axle. The braking system is one separate system and is not assisted, just pure driving feel. Handbrake mechanically operated on the rear wheels. The braking system is in good condition and only needs some adjustment. Both the front and rear tires are in very good as new condition. On the front axle Toyo 310 in the size 155R15 82S are mounted. On the rear axle Toyo 310 in the size 155R15 82S are mounted. The steel rims are also in very good condition without damages.

Interior:
Both front seats are upholstered in artificial leather. The body colored dashboard is without damages and built with original Volkswagen VDO instruments. There are also an oil pressure gauge and oil temperature gauge installed under the dashboard. A classic artificial time period correct radio is installed. All this is in a beautiful and well-maintained condition.

In the documentation you will find the Luxembourg registration and pictures of invoices of the building process.

Several years ago this car was estimated to be worth around €35.000,- by an appraiser.
