Een bijzonder exemplaar is het zeker deze Citröen HY Camper uit het jaar 1968.
In de jaren zestig had Citröen zelf niet de mogelijkheid om langere uitvoeringen te maken van de Citroën HY terwijl daar wel vraag naar was. Mede daarom is toen een samenwerkingsverband ontstaan tussen Citroën en carrossiebouwer Sapa om langere uitvoeringen te kunnen leveren. Dit alles met behoud van de fabrieksgarantie  van de fabrikant en onder supervisie van Citroën.
Dit exemplaar is een dergelijke Sapa uitvoering en dat is best wel bijzonder.
Een hele originele Camper met een prachtige tijdscorrecte inbouw, alles in een zeer goede conditie.

Wegens gevorderde leeftijd van de eigenaar (die de auto al lang in bezit heeft) wordt deze nu verkocht en afgelopen jaar is hij er nog mee naar de Dordogne geweest.

De auto is steeds goed onderhouden en enkele jaren geleden is een hagelnieuwe ruilmotor geplaatst.

Rijden doe de auto goed en heeft dankzij de grote binnenruimte is het een redelijke royale camper.

Een icoon en wanneer je er niet van houdt om aangesproken te worden dan is dit niet de juiste auto: overal krijg je veel aandacht en enthousiaste medeweggebruikers.

We proberen de auto's zo eerlijk en correct mogelijk te omschrijven maar het blijven gebruikte voertuigen dus er kan altijd iets zijn dat aandacht behoeft of enige gebruikssporen vertoont, dat is inherent aan gebruikte artikelen. En ook een druppel olie die lekt is niet ongewoon.

Het is raadzaam om het voertuig eerst te bekijken alvorens te bieden om teleurstellingen achteraf te voorkomen. Voor een afspraak kunt u contact opnemen met Catawiki.
