HISTORIAL 
Fundada en 1921, Amilcar fue el más famoso y exitoso de los muchos fabricantes franceses de voiturettes (o ciclecares) que proliferaron después de la Primera Guerra Mundial. Diseñado por Edmond Moyet, el Tipo CC original era un automóvil deportivo propulsado por un motor de válvulas laterales, seguido por el CGS más potente de 1924, que incluía frenos en las cuatro ruedas, lubricación a presión y suspensiones cuartoelípticas.

Esta unidad parece haber pasado toda su existencia en España, y aún hoy conserva una matrícula antigua de La Coruña fechada en 1928. Nunca ha sido restaurado en profundidad, sino que a lo largo del tiempo sus propietarios han ido manteniéndolo en funcionamiento. Existen fotos del coche en los años 60 y 80, como se puede ver en la galería. Su actual propietario lo adquirió hace unos 4 años y ha realizado varios trabajos para devolverle su aspecto original, manteniendo esa increíble pátina que el coche ha conservado hasta nuestros días.

CARROCERÍA
Monta su carrocería original de fábrica tipo CGS3, es decir, la versión con 3 asientos. Toda su estructura interna de madera y la chapa exterior son las originales, algo muy difícil de encontrar en los Amilcar hoy en día. Tiene defectos que se pueden ver en las fotos, y una bonita pátina. La calandra ha sido restaurada y ha recibido recientemente un baño de cromado. Los faros y pilotos llevan bombillas led de bajo consumo. 

MECÁNICA
Fue restaurada hace varios años y se mantiene en funcionamiento. Arranca muy bien y suena estupendamente. Ha conservado incluso el sistema de "escape libre" que se acciona desde el interior. El cambio de marchas funciona realmente bien, las velocidades entran sin rascar. El propietario actual ha realizado una instalación eléctrica nueva de 12 voltios. Se ha puesto un motor de arranque nuevo, se han ajustado las válvulas, ajustado los frenos y limpiado el carburador, entre otros. Lleva instalado un alternador no original que no funciona. Las llantas han sido restauradas y se han montado 4 neumáticos nuevos Michelin Classic. Tiene la ITV válida recién obtenida.

INTERIOR
Ha sido restaurado por el actual propietario. La tapicería estaba en muy mal estado, así que ha sido retapizada en cuero negro como el original. El salpicadero ha sido totalmente rehecho, y ahora tiene la forma correcta y todos sus indicadores, aunque todos ellos están actualmente desconectados. El volante también ha sido restaurado. La tapicería que rodea el habitáculo alrededor de la carrocería es la original.
