Heel af en toe loop je met wat geluk tegen dergelijike pareltjes aan. 

Deze originele Volvo PV 444 is van het allereerste type, dus het A model. Onder andere te herkennen aan het feit dat vanaf fabriek de ruitenwissers verkeerd gemonteerd waren. Deze mooie PV rijdt prima, start direct, schakelt goed en remt ook prima. 
Zeer geringe gebruikssporen zijn aanwezig, zie de foto’s. 

Documenten:
De auto heeft een afgemelde Zweedse registratie, en kan met de aanwezige papieren gemakkelijk  worden geregistreerd. De auto heeft altijd in Zweden doorgebracht, en is enkele weken geleden naar Nederland gekomen.In 2018 is de auto in Zweden voor altijd getest en goedgekeurd. Volgens de overlevering is de auto vanaf nieuw in 1947 tot 1958 gebruikt, en daarna in een droge vochtvrije schuur gezet. De auto is vervolgens in 2018 door de laatste eigenaar weer “ontdekt”, heeft uitgebreid onderhoud gehad, en de auto tot voor kort voor recreatieve doeleinden gebruikt. De afgelezen kilometerstand zou heel goed kunnen kloppen, (56826 km )
 
Carrosserie:
De onderzijde van is slechts gering aangepakt, meer was niet nodig. Het lakwerk (naar verluidt is het nitro cellullose lak) is bijzonder mooi, met zeer geringe gebruikerssporen. Echt een plaatje, zeker wanneer men beseft dat de auto al 77 jaar oud is (!)

Technisch:
De laatste eigenaar heeft de auto technisch altijd netjes bijgehouden. Zelfs de optionele kachel functioneert, diverse nieuwe onderdelen zijn geplaatst, de linker semafoor moet even worden gecontroleerd, net als de ruitenwissers. De auto is de laatste jaren alleen bij erg mooi weer gebruikt. 

Interieur:
Het interieur ziet er geweldig mooi uit, ook de hemel bekleding is in erg nette toestand. De deurpanelen lijken als nieuw, net als de stoelbekleding.

Extra : er worden veel extra delen meegeleverd. Daarnaast heeft de verkoper veel contacten in binnen en buitenland, en kan u adviseren in onderdeel voorziening. Niet dat het nu nodig is, maar altijd handig om te weten.

Transport:
De auto staat in Hengevelde, Nederland en kan hier vanzelfsprekend worden opgehaald. De auto kan tegen meerprijs van 150 euro in Nederland worden bezorgd (excl. De Waddeneilanden)
