Een echte icoon uit de 60's de Chrysler Imperial LeBaron 7.2 V8 met een 3-speed automaat.

Deze Chrysler Imperial LeBaron 1968 is de Amerikaanse sedan pur sang, luxueus, groot, comfortabel en een echte blikvangen. In blauw metallic met wit dak.

Techniek
Onder de motorkap bevind zich een krachtige 440 Ci Big Block, automaat (gereviseerd in 2014, met versterkte koppelomvormer.)
Motor, bak en carrosserie hebben ‘matching Numbers’ en juiste date-code! Daardoor dus ideaal om een correcte Charger / Coronet / Super Bee op te bouwen!
In 2013 voorzien van LPG.
Veel 'lastige' delen al gereviseerd:
- automaat gereviseerd in 2014
- koppelomvormer versterkt en gereviseerd
- kachelradiator gereviseerd in 2015
- radiator gereviseerd
- vacuüm-systeem gecontroleerd en aantal kleppen vervangen
- recent nieuwe Accu
- recent nieuwe dynamo
- Lichtschakelaar gereviseerd
remleiding van voor naar achter vernieuwd
Cruisecontrol en max-speed-functie zijn volledig gereviseerd en werkten perfect maar sinds deze zomer heeft het systeem soms last van vocht (motortje draait dan niet)
440Ci motor loopt netjes en heeft altijd onderhoud gehad. 
Voorzien van een grote LPG tank in de kofferbak

Exterieur
De carrosserie maakt een redelijke indruk; ondanks dat zijn er duidelijke roestschades die de nodige aandacht van laswerk vragen.
De lak is op diverse plekken verweerd door de zon, minimale roestvorming. Bodem, dorpels en chassis in redelijk tot goede conditie.

Interieur
Het interieur is gebruikt en op diverse delen zijn sporen van slijtage te zien, zo zijn de stoelen aan de voorzijde beschadigd. In de vooruit bevind zich een barst zie fotos.  De airco zit er ook op.

Verder een karakteristieke wagen die zeker niet perfect is, maar wel veel plezierige kilometers aan kan.
Verdient weliswaar niet direct een schoonheidsprijsje maar zeker wel een leuk project om weer tot een nette auto om te toveren. Eigenlijk is het niet anders dan hoe een stoere Amerikaan er uit hoort te zien.

Oude tijden herleven met deze icoon uit de 60's? Pak dan nu u kans.
Bovendien is het een zeer goede investering met een goed toekomstig rendement.
