Mooie Maserati Biturbo 425 van 1984. Deze Maserati is in 2001 vanuit Italie naar België gekomen, maar door omstandigheden nooit meer in gebruik genomen. In 2024 is de Maserati door mij ingevoerd in Nederland en voorzien van een geldig Nederlands kenteken.  In de jaren van stalling is de sleutel van de portieren helaas kwijtgeraakt. 

Na zo'n 20 jaar stalling in een droge garage is er weer leven in de Biturbo. In 2020 en 2021 is de Maserati weer opgestart en nu dus ingevoerd. Een hoop kosten zijn er al gemaakt. Hieronder een opsomming van de werkzaamheden en onderdelen. Hiervan zijn de facturen grotendeels aanwezig bij de auto, net als enkele papieren uit Italië, die de herkomst aantonen.

De Biturbo is dus nog steeds voorzien van een nieuw Nederlands kenteken. Qua body verkeerd de auto is serieus harde toestand. De bodem, dorpels, kleppen, binnenschermen, kofferbak, wielkast randen, allemaal in harde staat! De deuren zijn voor dit type Maserati zeker ook hard. De linker portieren hebben wat werk onderaan, maar zeker nog niet doorgeroest. Vermoedelijk is de auto in Italië al eens volledig opnieuw gespoten. Na al die jaren natuurlijk her en der een krasje en een deukje. In het verleden heeft de auto in Italië een deuk opgelopen aan de rechter c-stijl. Deze is nooit definitief hersteld, maar tijdelijk strakgezet en gewrapt in een blauwe wrap. Niet echt matchend qua kleur. Zier hiervoor de foto's.   

Het interieur is volledig origineel en vrij netjes. De luxe stoelen en achterbank verkeren in prima staat. Ook het dashboard, merendeel van deurbekleding en hoedenplank zijn netjes. Sommige grepen e.d. moeten opnieuw bekleed worden. De missende kaartenbak van het linkervoorportier is gewoon bij de auto, evenals het centre-dopje van 1 van de wielen. 

De Biturbo start keurig en geeft goede oliedruk. Natuurlijk moet alles nog worden afgesteld. Het grootste werk is echter gedaan. De bak schakelt soepel in, koppeling werkt goed, remmen zijn voor 90% gedaan. Hij remt, maar moet verder worden afgesteld of ontlucht.     

Het is raadzaam om het voertuig eerst te bekijken alvorens te bieden om teleurstellingen achteraf te voorkomen. Voor een afspraak kunt u contact opnemen met Catawiki. Deze Maserati is te bezichtigen in Vlissingen. Daar kan hij ook worden afgehaald.
