GENERAL

El Chevrolet Coupé de finales de los años 30 es una de las plataformas más icónicas y codiciadas en la cultura Custom y Hot Rod estadounidense. Durante la posguerra, estos vehículos se convirtieron en el lienzo preferido de los entusiastas debido a su chasis de acero robusto y sus guardabarros pronunciados, que permitían alojar neumáticos más anchos y motores de gran cilindrada. Este ejemplar en particular fue totalmente restaurado y convertido en Hot Rod en Estados Unidos hace algunos años, siguiendo la tradición técnica de mejorar drásticamente el rendimiento original. Tras su etapa en América, el vehículo fue importado a Letonia y recientemente ha sido adquirido por su actual propietario, un museo de coches antiguos situado en España, lo que garantiza un estándar de conservación de nivel de exhibición.

CARROCERÍA Y PINTURA

Se trata de un vehículo realmente único que destaca por un trabajo de restauración integral de altísima calidad. La carrocería luce una pintura de color rojo vino tinto impecable con un acabado de alto brillo que realza sus líneas clásicas. Durante el proceso de transformación no se escatimaron esfuerzos, logrando una estructura libre de óxidos y sin defectos de ninguna clase, manteniendo la pureza del diseño original pero con el carácter agresivo y limpio que define a un Hot Rod de exhibición.

MECÁNICA

El corazón de este Hot Rod es un potente motor Small Block de 5.7 litros (350 pulgadas cúbicas) que entrega 350 caballos de potencia, proporcionando un rendimiento muy superior al de fábrica. Para gestionar esta fuerza, el vehículo está equipado con una transmisión automática TH 350, conocida en el mundo de la restauración por su fiabilidad y suavidad en la transferencia de par. El conjunto mecánico se completa con un sistema de doble escape que no solo optimiza la salida de gases, sino que otorga el sonido característico y profundo de los V8 americanos de alto rendimiento.

INTERIOR

Siguiendo la línea de una restauración de museo, el interior ha sido acondicionado para complementar la estética exterior y el nivel de potencia del vehículo. Los acabados interiores reflejan el cuidado de una restauración integral, ofreciendo un espacio que combina el encanto de los años 30 con las mejoras propias de una conversión Hot Rod profesional, asegurando que tanto el confort como la presentación visual estén a la altura de su mecánica.

El vehículo cuenta actualmente con documentación en vigor de Lituania y está clasificado oficialmente como vehículo histórico en dicho país.
