C'è chi ama la Z3 e... chi mente! La storia della Z3 iniziò nel 1995 e BMW per chiuderne l'era rilasciò negli ultimi mesi di produzione la "Sport Edition", la più rara delle Versioni Speciali, codice opzione 0719. 

Questa è una di quei pochi esemplari, si narra solo 250 pezzi assemblati solo ed esclusivamente per la Germania! Vettura ben manutentata regolarmente nel tempo, condizioni superlative storia completa documentata e cosa quasi unica per un'auto di questa età ha Service Book completo di tutti i tagliandi certificati e degli interventi, tutti fatti in Officine BMW.

Cruscotto e pannelli con "pelle estesa" cioè ordinati da nuova con kit pelle estesa che ottava circa 8.000 euro in BMW.

La "Sport Edition" aveva un equipaggiamento di serie che comprendeva:

- Differenziale Autobloccante meccanico al 25% (S209) DSC3 (Sport edition e ZE M3.2)
-Sensori di sbardata (Solo sport edition e Z3 M 3.2) posti sotto i sedili.
-Cerchi a canale differenziato (solo Spprt edition e Z3 M 3.2)
- Opzione Chassis Sportivo M (Codice 0704), Sospensioni ribassate di 15mm m-sport
- Indicatori di direzione bianchi, Spruzzi Lavafari e Paraurti con Griglia a Nido D'Ape
- Interni dedicati (Sedili avvolgenti Chamaleon, Console in alluminio spazzolato, Chrome Line, volante e pomello M).
- Cerchi 17" Style 78 (BBS) o M-Line come i miei a richiesta con sovrapprezzo perché con canale differenziato, Gomme 225 anteriori e 245 posteriori.

Ha in più moltissimi pneumatici omologati a libretto.
Ha un colore splendido, è una Serie Speciale come da brochure ufficiale BMW allegata insieme all'impressionante corredo di catologhi brochure libri listini e documenti BMW che ne certificano l'autenticità, in più equipaggiata di placchetta identificativa "LIMITED EDITION".

La dotazione si completa con RollBar, Climatizzatore, Sedili Elettrici e Riscaldati, Controllo Stabilità e Trazione, Computer di Bordo e Specchietti Elettrici. Presenti Manuali e triple chiavi. 

Visura del telaio (matching number), oltre al report Carvertical, impianto stereo BMW CD Business con impianto Harmann Kardon di serie sulla sport edition dettagli cromati ancora borsa pronto soccorso tutti i libretti originali e tutte le brochure originali del modello.
