Briefly

For sale is a rare model of the pre-war Mercedes 170V cabrio sedan from 1936.

- owned for over 50 years.
- completely restored
- registered and garaged
- matching numbers (same chassis and engine number)
- rare body design
- the first years of production of the model 170v (w136)

Car history:

The car was produced in 1936. It is a rare cabrio sedan. 
The first owner of the car drove it from 1936. until 1960, when the car was registered and stored in a garage in Šibenik (Croatia).
My father bought it in the 80s and the car moved to a garage in Zagreb, where it is still today.

Restoration:

The restoration of the car began in 2008 and lasted until 2011. 
The car has been completely restored. Bodywork, interior, upholstery, soft top roof, chrome parts, wood paneling, etc. The complete mechanics, chassis, gearbox, engine, etc., everything has been restored to new.

The restoration used original parts from stores such as Niemoller, Oldtimer Jelinek, Automobilia Versand...

General info:

Since the car was restored, it has been registered, technically correct and insured every year.

Since the restoration, the car has traveled about 2,500 kilometers, mainly going to oldtimer meetings and exhibitions.

Interior:

The interior of the car is like new. All the leather on the seats and door panels are in almost excellent condition. The carpet is like new and the dashboard and instrument are also in great condition.

Body & Paint:

There is no rust on the car, and the engine and transmission work properly. 
The paint is in great condition with tiny user marks. There is a small scratch on the left fender. 

The car is matching numbers stock, a rarity in pre-war Mercedes models. 

There are many pictures about the restoration and all accompanying documentation with invoices.

Carburettor is serviced 2 months ago.

The car is registered and has Croatian license plates and there are no problems with import and registration as Croatia is a member of the European Union.

The car is technically sound and ready for a new owner.
