Deze leuke Volvo Amazon P130 met Overdrive uit 1963 heeft enkele verbeteringen doorgevoerd gekregen, zo is de B16 motor (1.6 liter) vervangen door het betere B18 type, 1.8 liter met de 5x gelagerde krukas. En inderdaad, dat is de zeer beroemde Volvo motor die tot enorme kilometerstanden in staat is. Daarbij is er een overdrive gemonteerd, die op de 4e versnelling werkt, zeg maar een soort 5e versnelling, heel prettig op de snelweg. Tenslotte is er een LPG gasinstallatie gemonteerd, die perfect werkt. Al met al, een bijzondere automobiel. Verwacht geen nieuwe of in concoursstaat verkerende automobiel, maar deze 2 deurs Amazon heeft veel potentie ter verbetering. 

Gezien zijn leeftijd is de auto in Nederland wegenbelasting vrijgesteld, en ook vrijgesteld voor de APK.

Documenten:

De auto is in 1963 nieuw in Nederland geleverd, en hier dus altijd gereden. De auto heeft een Nederlandse registratie en kan (tegen meerprijs van 50 euro) met EU Export documenten worden geleverd, zodat een eventuele nieuwe buitenlandse eigenaar de auto gemakkelijk in land kan registreren.
 
Carrosserie:

De onderzijde is natuurlijk met de jaren aangepakt en bijgehouden, een klein dwarsbalkje heeft wat aandacht nodig, zie foto’s. De originele kleur was Volvo kleur 73, licht groen, en circa 20 jaar geleden is de auto helemaal zwart gespoten. Over het algemeen is dit netjes gedaan, echter op de linker deur is de lakdikte wat minimaal, als je er erg op let. Het chroomwerk is behoorlijk netjes, en kan naar eigen inzicht helemaal netjes worden opgepoetst, hoewel de huidige patina op het chroom hem ook goed staat. De rechter deur moet iets worden afgesteld. 

Technisch:

De laatste eigenaar heeft de auto ook technisch altijd netjes bijgehouden, echter het laatste jaar is de auto weinig gebruikt, en zoals met iedere gebruikte auto is een onderhoudsbeurt altijd goed. 
De auto start, rijdt, schakelt en remt goed, de lampen op de voorbumper dienen opnieuw te worden aangesloten, de auto rijdt momenteel alleen op LPG. Tevens is er ook een elektrische hoofdschakelaar gemonteerd, altijd handig wanneer de auto gedurende langere tijd niet gebruikt wordt, zoals in de winter.

Interieur:

Het interieur ziet er netjes uit, de hemelbekleding is vernieuwd, de stoelbekleding is netjes, en de deurpanelen ook. De hardboard met vinyl afwerkplaten bij de voeten van de chauffeur en bijrijder zijn verwijderd, het mooie van dergelijke Volvo’s is dat zo ongeveer alles nog nieuw of gebruikt te koop is. 
Leuk om te weten:
De verkoper heeft veel contacten in binnen en buitenland, en kan u adviseren in de onderdeel voorziening. Niet dat het nu nodig is, maar altijd handig om te weten.

Transport:

De auto staat in Hengevelde, Nederland en kan hier vanzelfsprekend worden opgehaald. De auto kan tegen meerprijs van 150 euro in Nederland worden bezorgd (excl. De Waddeneilanden)

Verkoper kan de auto relatief goedkoop in de hele EU laten bezorgen door een professionele transporteur.
