Description from the seller
GENERAL:
The 1973 Cadillac Fleetwood Series 75, first registered in Belgium, thus European, and its odometer in kilometers, represents the pinnacle of postwar American automotive luxury. With a wheelbase of 3.85 meters and an overall length close to 6.4 meters, this model was the only GM production vehicle built entirely by hand on a real limousine chassis. It is the ultimate expression of prestige—the "Standard of the World"—in an era where size and presence meant everything. As was standard in luxury configurations of the period, this unit presents the classic division of materials: leather for the driver’s area, designed for durability and resistance to daily wear, and a sumptuous velour for the rear passengers, prioritizing thermal comfort and exclusivity. This particular unit is a flagship that has been maintained to an absolute standard of excellence.
CARROCERÍA Y PINTURA:
The vehicle features an immaculate bodywork that was completely disassembled and repainted in 2024. The resulting finish is at a professional level, appearing smooth and flawless across its entire extent. This work is complemented by bright chromes on all moldings, bumpers and exterior details, which are in mirror-like condition to highlight the natural elegance of its lines.
MECÁNICA:
Under the hood sits the legendary 7.7-liter V8 engine, a robust and meticulously maintained mechanicals that is completely dry with no oil or fluid leaks. The car stands out for its reliability, with an excellent cold start that demonstrates optimal tuning. On the road it unleashes its great power with total smoothness, offering the iconic cloud-like driving experience that defines Cadillacs of this era. The tires are less than 2 years old and have barely 200 kilometers of use.
INTERIOR:
The cabin presents a healthy, clean and very well-preserved appearance, managing to maintain intact the original luxury atmosphere of the 1970s. The interior remains impeccable and functional, with the exception of the original radio; although we have it, it was removed in its day to be repaired but the intervention did not take place. The instrument panel is clean and shows no warning indicators lit.
DOCUMENTACIÓN:
All vehicle documentation is strictly in order to facilitate transfer. The unit is registered as a Historic Vehicle in Spain, which provides benefits in terms of inspections and circulation. Its next ITV appointment is scheduled for late 2027, guaranteeing a long period of peace of mind for the buyer.
RECOGIDA:
The vehicle is available for pickup in Olot, Girona province (Catalonia), Spain. We offer every possible convenience for delivery; we have our own administrative office to expedite any necessary procedures. We also arrange specialized transport to any point in Europe with a tailored budget, ensuring that the car arrives at its destination in perfect condition.
OTRA INFORMACIÓN:
Our track record on the platform speaks for itself, having successfully auctioned numerous cars on Catawiki with positive reviews guaranteeing our transparency. This unit is an exceptional opportunity for collectors, as it is ready to be enjoyed from day one without immediate additional investments.

Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
