Arjan Rietveld

Brand : VW T1
Model: Transporter (Samba)
Manufacturing year: 16 -02-1965
Dutch General Periodic Inspection valid until: 20-04-2018.
Engine capacity: 1600 cc
Power: 40 kW
Transmission: Manual transmission - 4 speed
Dutch licence plate: AR - 07- 46
Odometer reading: 18,400 miles
This T1 was imported from the US years back.
The engine was overhauled in 2016.

The chassis and the body are in very good condition. The car has no rust. Partly because it has always been stalled indoors and was normally only driven in dry weather.

The interior was completely renewed in the original colour scheme in 2013.

The car is equipped with a new exhaust, a matching radio and numerous original extras.

It has recently been on view at the Keukenhof and has since become the most photographed Samba in the world. It was also temporarily on display in the Museum of Louwman in Wassenaar.

Of course the car can be viewed before placing a bid. Please contact the auctioneer in order to arrange a viewing.

Apart from the fact that you’re buying a piece of fun, it is also an excellent investment. Cars like these are, and certainly in his condition, very scarce.

The vehicle can be viewed and picked up in Maasdijk, the Netherlands.

This Samba is equipped with a 1600cc engine and a 4-speed manual transmission
