Jaguar - XJS 3.6 - Manual - 1986

This 1986 Jaguar XJS 3.6 is in good condition and has had only two owners. It is equipped with the desirable manual gearbox and the 3,600 cc straight-six engine. The exterior is in good condition. It is finished in classic English colours, green over cream interior. It is fitted from the factory with very nice rims which are unusual for this model. As you can see in the pictures, it has various details which are typical of the passage of time, and some repainted panels. The panels that seem to have original paint, have some cracked lacquer; we can also see some dents. A normal thing for a car from such an original period. The car has not had any accidents, and only a few parts have been repainted due to scratches and signs of age. The interior, finished in cream leather, is in very good condition and remains completely original. It does not show many signs of use. The headlining, floor and floor mats have recently been re-upholstered. Also, some seat foams were replaced. The interior is surprisingly comfortable and advanced for the time. Mechanically, it is in good condition. It has been properly maintained and the oil has been changed once a year regardless of mileage. Four months ago, four new tyres, six new shock absorbers and new brake pads were fitted and the handbrake was serviced. Finally, a new electronic ignition has been fitted, improving the performance. All in all, it is a very comfortable and elegant car that has had only two owners. It has always been in good hands and has been very well looked after. It is in good condition, with signs of age and some rust which appears to be superficial. Being the manual version with the six cylinder engine, this is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to own an English coupe of good provenance and with some external signs of age. This vehicle is located near the city of Barcelona, Spain.
