Volkswagen Beetle 1300 from 1970 "Rat style"

The car was originally intended for the Mozambique market, hence why it is RHD. It was imported into Portugal by its former owner after the original owner (the original owner's best friend) passed away. The seller is 
the vehicle's third owner.

Original car. A perfect time capsule. Original ''Savannenbeige L620'' factory paint.  Is not known to have been involved in any accident, and does not have visible damage to the structure. No part of the car is actually rotten. All rust is superficial. 

It is road-ready, has passed the inspection, and is driven daily.  Starts on the first attempt, breaks and shifts all gears well, generally runs well. Has the original engine and 28,000 km, running perfectly. The alternator, breaks, clutch, suspension, ball joints, etc have been replaced. No mechanical defects. Perfect daily driver. 

The interior has been redone using the Burberry pattern for the seats, the rear lining, and the driver's door compartment. New carpets. The roof lining, as well as the door trims, are still factory original. 

New Camac tyres. New rust-coloured lacquered rims. All windows are original from VW. All lights are original from Hella. Still has all the original factory tags. With original Volkswagen tools from this era, like the car jack, wrenches, and triangle. Comes with the service history book and the instructions manual from 1970.
