-Recién restaurado, excelente estado.

HISTORIAL
Este vehículo llegó a España en el año 1992, y se corresponde con la primera serie del mítico modelo "El Camino", que se fabricó solo entre 1959 y 1960. Su actual propietario la adquirió en el año 2020 y se terminó de restaurar en enero de 2024. Ha sido  catalogado como vehículo histórico para pasar ITV cada cuatro años, habiendo pasado la primera el 30/01/24. Se adjunta un extenso reportaje fotográfico con todos los detalles de la restauración.

CARROCERÍA
En el comienzo de la restauración, se chorreó con arena carrocería y bajos y se pintó con imprimación epoxi.  También se acoplaron a cada lado de los bajos de la carrocería un perfil metálico para apoyo de los brazos del elevador y se agrandó el emplazamiento de la batería para poder ponerle una de 100 A.

MECÁNICA
Es el modelo 348 c.i. V8 de 5700 cc y 300 CV de potencia 
Se montaron las siguientes piezas nuevas: Bombas de agua y gasolina, amortiguadores, cinturones de seguridad, depósito de agua para el limpia parabrisas, sensores de aceite y temperatura, muelles, interior del delco, carburador, piezas de la articulación de la dirección, placa de señalización del intermitente ubicada bajo volante, bomba auxiliar de la dirección, circuito de frenos incluido zapatas y depósito del líquido de frenos que en este caso lleva parafina y el compartimento interior de la guantera construido con chapa metálica.

 Al depósito de gasolina se le dio un tratamiento interior y se le dotó de una bomba eléctrica de gasolina para cebado del carburador en largas paradas. Se sustituyeron todos los manguitos y conductos del motor y se reparó el circuito de calefacción.

INTERIOR
 también dispone de radio original y otra de la época con reproductor de casetes. Interiormente las puertas fueron imprimadas con CAVITEX para su mejor conservación. Como se aprecia en las fotografías, este vehículo es de los pocos que dispone de todos los extras con que podía dotarse, tales como faro auxiliar en el lado derecho, encendedor, etc. Tan solo el velocímetro no funciona.
