Description from the seller

A very nice and well-driving 2CV6 Special with a Charleston look. The color is Gris Nocturne and Gris Cormoran. This beautiful car was built in 1984 and is in exceptionally beautiful, restored condition. Who will enjoy the 2-cylinder air-cooled boxer engine, 602cc, and manual transmission? The unique shifting is something you'll quickly get used to. Especially in today's traffic, this 2CV6 is a unique car, in terms of color, model, suspension, and technology. A real eye-catcher!

Documents:
The car was delivered new in the Netherlands, and its MOT is valid until September 1, 2027 (!!). It therefore has a Dutch registration.
This beautiful car can be delivered with EU export papers for an additional 50 euros, so that a new foreign owner can easily register the 2CV6 in his/her country.
The car was recently appraised at 12,000 euros.

Bodywork
This is a professionally restored car that was completed in 2017. The car shows hardly any signs of wear, which is not surprising after 41 years. After the restoration, the car was given its current, very attractive Charleston paint scheme. The chassis is very sound, as can be seen in the photos; it was also replaced in 2017. The rest of the car also looks excellent, with a very neat underbody.

Technical:
The engine was recently overhauled and runs very smoothly. All rubber seals, oil seals, oil, filters, clutch, and all moving parts were replaced. The tires were replaced around 2018, after which the car was only driven seasonally. Invoices are available for review.

Interior
The car features the Charleston interior, which looks very neat, as do the door panels and floor mats. The special interior with a fabric bench seat, the small counter panel, and the luggage rack complete the look.

Transport:
The 2CV6 is located in Hengevelde, the Netherlands, and can be picked up there. Delivery to the Netherlands is available for an additional €150 (excluding the Wadden Islands).

For the foreign bidders:
Delivery/Transport
The seller can have the car delivered relatively inexpensively across the entire EU by a professional carrier.

Disclaimer

Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
