It is one of the early Renault Clio 16 valves built and therefore without catalytic converter.
It was always kept in southern Italy, therefore in a dry climate and without any rust issues, not even surface spots.
It was fully repainted in 2022 to remove small dents and scratches due to thirty years of use.
New tyres and shock absorbers were fitted, they have about 2000 km to their credit. 
In March 2022, the timing belt was also replaced, along with the water pump and, of course, the coolant. On the same occasion, a service was carried out, including oil and oil filter, spark plugs and valve cover gasket. 
For a few years, a liquid gas system was installed, but it was removed in 2018.
The car is original, except for the removal of the centre silencer and the application of a sports air filter. All for a more pleasant, but non-invasive sound.
For personal taste, the air intake of the front bumper was modified, like a kit car version with a honeycomb grille.
The car is located in the province of Bologna. It is advisable to view the vehicle before bidding, in order to avoid any later disappointment.
