Studebaker Erskine Woody from 1927 fully restored.


This beautiful vehicle was rebodied in Spain in the 1940s as an attractive "woody" with the rear body panels made of wood. Very few vehicles of this type have been preserved as well as this one to this day. 

It belonged to a landowner at the time who used it to transport workers from the train station to the land where they worked. Having no heirs, the vehicle was donated to the local Provincial Council, which put the vehicle up for auction, being acquired by a collector who restored it in its entirety.

The photographs are true to their condition. The restoration of the wood was carried out by a specialist in this type of bodywork. The woods are the originals. Sheet metal, paint and underside of the vehicle are in very good condition. The mechanics work well and are up to date. Chrome and rubbers in perfect condition. 

With original Spanish documentation up to date and with double registration; it retains the original San Sebastian number plate, but is also registered as a Historic Vehicle in Spain. Everything is approved.
