Citroën - SM Maserati 3.0 V6 automatic - 1973

Truly an icon.

The Citroen SM 3.0 V6 MASERATI AUTOMATIC is a very exclusive and distinctive car in automotive history!

This top class Citroen has the same engine as the Maserati Merak.

Only 1012 units were manufactured and this is one of them. Designed by Robert Opron.

In addition, it is one of the very rare models that is equipped with a 3.0 Liter V6 Maserati engine with 3 Weber carburettors, these were only produced for the American market.

And it is even rarer that it also has an automatic transmission. (Normally 2.7L / Manual)

This Citroen SM comes from California, the warm, dry climate of California ensured that the car remained in a rock solid condition. It never had any welding done, this is also not necessary in the current condition. The car is rock solid.

All the chrome is very nice and in very good condition, the paint has a very nice, deep and complete shine. The photos show where the car has the odd tiny spot.

The car was parked indoors years ago in driving condition, in dry and warm storage, presently it is necessary to make the engine technically roadworthy, it does not run at the moment.

The interior is in original condition.
The dashboard has a crack, the console, headlining and the door panels are in good condition.

The upholstery and the carpet are in good condition, although slightly discoloured by the sun, the car also features tinted glass.

In addition, it is also equipped with good tyres and the original hubcaps are also in very good condition.

US Import, the car has already been imported,
all import duties and other costs have already been paid.

The car has a US Title with import documents and is presently in the Netherlands.
