Mercedes-Benz - CLK 55 AMG - 2001
Mercedes Benz CLK W208 in USA version
The most powerful version of the AMG, only 3,781 of them were made, including convertibles. And this CLK is not only that its sheets have been preserved in great condition, but also the 347-horsepower version of the 55 AMG.
In short:
- CLK 55 AMG
- vintage 2001
- mileage 188,170 km
- a car registered in Poland, after all payments, insured, with technical examination
- very good bodywork condition, CLK with a floor plate and thresholds in such a condition is a really rare specimen
- the paint on the whole car is original except for the right front fender, which is burnt from the sun
- very decent Carfax, two owners and a good, clear service history
- the car has a service starter pack (oil in the engine and gearbox, spark plugs or valve covers), bushings and front wishbone pins, new Continental Conti Sport 5 tires, and finally suspension geometry,
- we commissioned the upholsterer to repair the driver's seat, and spot the passenger seat, rear sofa, re-stitching the side panels and the steering wheel (upholstery defects, as well as the fender, are due to the strong sun, more about it below)
The car has slight stone chips on the bonnet and cracked paint on the front right fender. The bumpers are slightly faded from the sun and one rim has cracked paint.
It's hard to find a CLK 55 AMG that is not "tired of life", and that is healthy in terms of bodywork and still in its original paint. And this is just such a car. The famously reliable V8 5.4 from the M113 family does a great job here. It gurgles beautifully and impresses with its powerful torque (510 Nm). There is no problem with transferring this moment to the asphalt, the gearbox works as it should, and the rims have decent tires with European approval. Only 3,781 Mercedes CLK 55 AMGs were built, while about 350,000 lesser versions of the CLK were produced. pieces. So it's really quite a rare car, and looking at what is happening with the prices of rare Mercedes, all the more worth it.
The car has also undergone basic detailing.
The car is available for viewing and collection in Warsaw by making an appointment with Catawiki.
