Ontdek de charme van deze vroege Volvo P1800, bekend van onder andere Roger Moore's 'The Saint'. Dit exemplaar, geproduceerd in december 1960, is een van de allereerste van de productieband (chassisnummer 38) en is daardoor een gewild verzamelobject.

Historie:
•	Nieuw geleverd in Groot-Brittannië, destijds met de hand gebouwd bij Jensen.
•	Het vroege productienummer 38 maakt deze P1800 bijzonder, met kenmerkende afwerkingen die anders zijn dan latere modellen.
•	Oorspronkelijk eigendom van een Volvo-medewerker tot 1972, daarna verkocht aan een Volvo-dealer en sindsdien zorgvuldig onderhouden.

Restauratie en conditie:
•	In 2013 volledig gerestaureerd en teruggebracht en gespoten in de originele kleur
•	Mooi en goed plaatwerk met correcte passingen, beter dan de originele vroege productie.
•	Net chroomwerk, sierlijsten en kenmerkende 'koehoorn-bumpers'.

Interieur:
•	Comfortabele stoelen, in keurige staat, met een nette achterbank.
•	Correcte vroege meters met fraai zee-blauw middendeel.
•	Zeer verzorgde tapijten en deurpanelen.

Techniek:
•	Voorzien van de betrouwbare B18 motor (1.778 cc) met twee SU carburateurs, goed voor 100 pk.
•	Handgeschakelde M40-versnellingsbak met overdrive.
•	Vernieuwde remmen, uitlaat, ophanging, tank, schokdempers, radiateur en andere onderdelen tijdens de restauratie.
•	Motor uitvoerig geïnspecteerd en klaar voor vele kilometers rijplezier.

Deze Volvo P1800, met zijn historische waarde en goede conditie, is zeer geschikt voor verzamelaars en liefhebbers. Het combineert Italiaanse flair, Amerikaanse uitbundigheid en Zweedse nuchterheid in een prachtig pakket. Klaar voor de toekomst en een genot om mee te rijden.
