Mitsubishi - Lancer Evolution VI - European LHD RS2 - 2000

2000 Mitsubishi Lancer EVO 6 (Carisma GT Black Diamond Evolution RS2), 3rd owner. The beloved 6th generation Evolution model is a hit among JDM enthusiasts for a reason. Representing an outstanding racing heritage, its spec sheet justifies the hipe: the solid 4G63T engine with a great tunability, 4WD with a limited-slip differential and rallye pedigree are things we already miss in the Japanese brand and admire more and more as time passes. The story of this model starts in 1999–2000, when an unspecified number of Mitsubishi Lancer EVO VI were imported from Japan to Europe by Ralliart Germany. These vehicles were LHD, constructed for Europe which proves 17th digit VIN number. They were types RS1 and RS2 created for races with curb weight about 1,300 kg and they were lighter than GSR, which were created for plate number use. In these times, there was no Mitsubishi Lancer EVO VI approved for Europe, so this was the reason why they were marked as Mitsubishi Carisma. European homologation was reached by Mitsubishi Lancer EVO VIII after a few more years. Mostly, original Lancer EVO VI were individually imported from Japan and rebuilded from RHD. It proves their short digits, Japan VIN number. This offered example was imported to the Czech republic from the Netherlands in 2015. It has better competition parameters than Lancer EVO VI, known thanks to Tommy Mäkinnen. The car is in its original spec (except for the chrome decal in the middle of the dashboard was replaced by a black one) with MOMO steering wheel and RECARO Ralliart Germany seats included The car is after service with a new timing belt. No further service history known. Car has Czech, European documents and is registered in the Czech Republic.
