“The updated version of the Giulietta was presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show: the filler neck was now placed in the right rear wing and equipped with a flap; the front had a restyling, with more rounded wings, embedded headlights, new headlight rings and a front grille revised with horizontal bars. The rear wings had a fin tip and the new rear lights had their reflectors. The interior was more embellished and the dashboard had elongated instruments, including the rev counter.
In 1961 the Giulietta TI was upgraded to 74 hp (54 kW); with this new engine it was able to reach a speed of nearly 160 km/h.”
This example has always belonged to the same family, collectors of cult cars, who were able to preserve it over the years in the best way possible, doing the correct maintenance and using it as a family car at the beginning and then only for rallies and classic car events.
The body is very solid, without signs of rust, even on the usual trouble spots. Mechanically it is very efficient and even the electric system works fine. The interior was preserved in perfect condition and shows a beautiful colour combination.
The tyres are suitable for classic cars and show little wear; they can be safely used to enjoy the pleasure of driving.
A car that still shows its charm, unchanged over time. A piece of history of the Italian automotive!
The vehicle can be viewed and picked up in Aversa (CE), Italy.
