Excellent Mercedes 500 SE with a clean accident record and no rust. Its original owner bought it from the official Mercedes Juncosa dealership in Barcelona and it was registered on 29 May 1984 under plate number B-7261-GF. It was moved to Madrid ca. 1995. The owner was a notary and made frequent road trips, which explains its generally low level of wear and tear relative to mileage. 
The vehicle's original owner kept it until 2020, when it was put up for sale at the renowned Cochera, a garage specialising in classic Mercedes Benz. It was there that the initial repairs were carried out after I bought the car in February 2021, with the intention of restoring it. 
The car has been registered with historic plate number H1292BBG since 21 February 2020, but I have the original Barcelona plate as well. It has a technical vehicle inspection certificate valid until 21 February 2024. 
I have the original maintenance booklet for the first 250,000 km, the service instructions and a multitude of subsequent invoices. The car sat unused from 2010 until 2019. After I bought it, I spent more than 18 months restoring it, carrying out, among others, the following improvements and repairs:

- exterior paintwork;
- interior refurbishment of Becker Grand Prix radio;
- M+S tyres; 
- 4 Sachs shock absorbers, coilovers and multiple tie rods and suspension and steering mounts; 
- front and rear brake pads and brake hoses;
- 8 injectors, 8 spark plugs and Bosch fuel pump;
- German SPOB warm-up regulator; 
- power steering pump refurbished and steering fluid changed; 
- refurbished idle control unit;
- all four belts;
- engine and gearbox mounts;
- engine oil and oil filter;
- air and petrol filters;
- automatic transmission oil and transmission filter;
- torque converter oil;
- self-locking differential oil;
- refurbished starter pump.
