Global spider icon. Equipped with more careful finishes than the "Sprint" version, the "Giulietta Spider"' was also a very successful model. Early prototypes were fitted with an America-style panoramic windshield and sliding side windows that clipped to the hood; later for the production versions a more flat or conventional windshield and descending glass side windows were adopted. This Spider up for auction has undergone a conservative restoration, which has just been fully done. The engine and gearbox have been serviced by a specialised workshop and are currently still running in. No rust anywhere. The interior is new, as are the soft top and carpets, including the rubber ones bearing the Alfa Romeo logo. Making it all the more captivating are the Nardi steering wheel and knob.
